When is your spa day?
Spa day is the day a spa owner cleans their spa, or “cleans the spa,” and cleans the clients.
In the past, a spa would have to hire a full-time employee to clean and maintain their spa.
Spa days are less busy.
In fact, some spa owners don’t need a full time employee to perform the work.
In some states, a part-time cleaning service is still needed, but this is not a requirement for all states.

The number of people cleaning the spa has increased dramatically, from 1,200 to 5,000 in the last five years, according to the American Spa Association.
That’s up from a low of fewer than 500 a decade ago.
While some states have gone further in offering full-service cleaning services, some states like Texas, California and Georgia still have a full service cleaning industry.
And in the future, the number of spa day workers will likely go up.
A full-day cleaning job is a one-day job for a full week, and most states offer full- and part-day jobs for the same amount of time.
A person would have the same job every day, so it makes sense for a spa to offer full day jobs as well, according.
“A full- time cleaning worker, the equivalent of a full spa day worker, makes $18 per hour,” said Julie C. Williams, senior vice president of communications for the American Association of Spa and Body Works, which represents the nation’s spa and body care workers.
A part- or full- day job is similar, but requires a certain amount of cleaning and maintenance.
In addition to the cleaning and keeping the spa clean, a full day worker will have to clean the area and make sure the spa is properly ventilated.
“They need to get to the spa every day,” said Williams.
“And it’s a very high-pressure job.”
Part-time workers also must make sure that the spa stays in working order, said Williams, and they must make their own schedules and pay themselves overtime.
The spa day is also different in other states.
In Georgia, part- and full-tourists must be paid hourly.
And the average hourly wage in Florida, which has the second-highest number of full- service jobs in the country, is $9.50 per hour.
In Virginia, part and full workers can make $11 per hour, or the equivalent to $24,500 a year.
If the full- or part-tours work at the same location, the difference in wages would be $5,500, according the American Labor Relations Board.
The wage difference isn’t necessarily a deal breaker for most full-sales employees.
A job with part- time hours is more of a challenge for part-timers.
In many parts of the country in which part- hours jobs are still more common, the pay is much lower than the pay in full-hours jobs.
For example, part time jobs can be made up of as few as 30 hours a week, compared to 50 or more hours a month in some parts of Canada, said Robert Siegel, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress.
“Part-time work is a way for people to make ends meet.
It’s not a good way to make a living,” said Siegel.
In contrast, full- hours work is usually more stable, said Sauer, because full-hour jobs pay well and are relatively stable.
“If you’re part of a company that makes $50,000 a year, you’re not going to have the flexibility of not having to be doing part-hour work,” said Cressey.
“It’s more of an economic risk.”
